Iaido is a Japanese Martial art and a more traditional form of Budo that emphasizes on drawing a sword and cutting with the blade in one single motion. It is all about one lethal draw, cut and kill. Iaido also involves the cleaning of the blade after the kill and then putting it back into the scabbard. All these motions are done without looking away from the opponent. You can imagine the amount of expertise, concentration and technique required to make all the motions seem just like one. The most important part of this Martial Art is that there is no protective covering on the body and if a student is unable to master the technique then they will end up injuring themselves. The training is more about helping Iaido students achieve the trinity of power, precision and perfection.
