Vinyasa
Vinyasa yoga is not a particular style but is a confluence of various styles, which have been put together to maximize our wellness and health. Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement,” and its training includes various movements followed by inhaling or exhaling. The technique is also known as the Vinyasa Flow, because the inhale-exhale combination is almost like a synchronous dance. One of the simple Vinyasa yoga style is the Cat-Cow Stretch where you will have to arch your spine to inhale and the spine will be rounded during an exhale. Some of the other Vinyasa styles include Anusara, Ashtanga, Bikram/Hot Yoga, Jivamukti, Kundalini and Power Yoga.
